Just wanted to add my five cents worth... the challenge steps this week were awesome! Small snacks of movement worked well for me, especially this week when I had very little time.

My favourite was the Seven Minute Ladder so I was glad to see it make an appearance twice. Then followed by Energized in Eight. The step I struggled to do was Walk Don't Run. Not because I don't like running, it was more because I didn't have the space to do it because it required running down the street and we had a week of rain. I will attempt to complete that step this week when the weather is better and I have more time. 

The Chill Out and Breathe and Get Into Nature steps were equally as rewarding but I would have liked to see them as an extra added to the end of a physical challenge.  On those two days I felt a little like I had slacked off.

I just want to say thank you! You have really changed my view on exercise from 'having' to do it to actually wanting to and enjoying it. You have helped me become a lot fitter. 

I remember when I first started with you last year and being puffed when I got to the top of those daunting stairs to now being able to run around the block!

The daily mini-challenges really changed my mindset on how important it is to move my body every day, even if it is for 10 minutes. I can't thank you enough for all the support and encouragement you have shown me and I love having you help me on my journey.

I have completed the 7 day challenge. I really enjoyed it. The day we had to go out into nature and just drink in the beauty of our surroundings was truly incredible.

I sat on a rock at one of our local parks and watched the ducks swimming around without a care in their world. That whole exercise got me thinking, why do we not do this? My own experience is, we have to be doing all the time, we know we should take time for ourselves, but rarely do it. 

I have had a mindfulness change. A simple thing - with a big impact.

Kirsten, I would just like to thank you and 'You Can Move' for the last eight weeks of support, encouragement and mentoring a healthy me.

I have changed my whole attitude towards exercise. I used to dread the thought of hour long workouts and would struggle to find the time which then would add more pressure.

But now, after working wih you over the last 2 months, I now enjoy half hour workouts and feel fitter than I've ever been. And to top iit off I'm now also loving your 7 and 10 day challenges that keep me moving every other day for at least 15 minutes of enjoyable excercise.

I am excited to continue my journey with 'You Can Move' and reap the rewards of a happy, healthy me.

Kirsten is amazing! I have had the pleasure (yes, you heard right! :) of her training me both in person and online. She encourages you and motivates you to push on that bit harder but in such a way that you want to. She brings out the best in you. I love how she always provides variety in her sessions.

Kirsten Russell - You Can! Fitness Solutions, has turned this couch loving "never setting foot in a gym", "PT sessions? Never!" girl into someone whose highlight of her week is her two PT sessions with Kirsten.


I can guarantee that no matter what my week is like there will be at least twice a week I will feel awesome - my 45 mins training with Kirsten :). No matter what my mood/frame of mind when I arrive at the You Can! studio I always leave smiling ... slightly shattered.. but smiling 😉 The difference in how I feel (and measure!) is so much more than I had hoped or expected.
